IndiaChem - Gujarat 2011, the second in the series of India Chem Gujarat event which included; an International exhibition & conference covering Specialty, Fine Chemicals, Agrochemicals and Colorants was inaugurated by Shri Narendra Modi, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Gujarat on 13th of October 2011 at mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.The event was jointly being organized by the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Govt. of India, Govt. of Gujarat, iNDEXTb and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). Chemexcil (Chemicals Export Promotion Council, promoted by Department of Commerce, Govt. of India) organized an International Reverse Buyer-Seller meet during the exhibition.
IndiaChem–Gujarat 2011 exhibition is a huge success with participation of over 150 exhibitors and over 6000 Business Visitors. A conference with the theme "Leveraging Gujarat State Advantage in the Global Chemical Industry" was also organized concurrently with the exhibition. The conference included the following sessions:
